I recently enjoyed a delightful weekend at the Graskop Hotel, perfectly situated on the Panorama Route in the heart of Mpumalanga. As a wildlife conservationist, I was particularly enamored by the lush gardens and quirky art scattered throughout the hotel-each corner revealed pieces that sparked joy and admiration. Our spacious family garden room was a sanctuary, offering tranquility and comfort after our daily explorations, and the terrace was a lovely spot to sip tea and unwind. The highlight was undoubtedly breakfast; a generous spread of both hot and cold dishes, complete with made-to-order eggs, was a perfect start to our day. With the sun-soaked pool just a few steps away, we spent lazy afternoons lounging, cooling off, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
